How to Evaluate the STEM Curriculum in Spain?

There is a wide demand for professionals related to the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) field; nevertheless, number of students decreasing every day, presence women also scarce. Within Spanish context, different programs are promoting measures STEM skills’ development; however, they neither collected nor evaluated under common umbrella. For that reason, it seems appropriate investigate possibilities carrying out certification, involving management teaching practice secondary high school education centers. The present work has developed an evaluation instrument based on by Friday Institute Educational Innovation from North Carolina State University (USA). model proposed looking at obtaining high-quality Center certification in seeking guarantee efforts made systematically framework. This includes rubric with 5 dimensions series indicators, classifying centers 4 levels development. aim provide framework establish, monitor guide their culture development global perspective, counting entire educational community, working skills transversal manner.
